What if the caregiver's location, as recorded by the app, does not match where they really where?

A. You will need to request your caregiver's location.

  1. Call the client’s phone number while the employee is scheduled to work with the client and verify that your caregiver is with their patient and at the address from the client’s profile.

  2. Inform the employee that you will be requesting their location and they need to have their Billiyo mobile app open

  3. Request Location - by clicking into the request location tab button under CRM>Client Caregiver>View Client Caregiver

  4. Search for the client and their caregiver’s name and then click Request Location

  5. Ask the caregiver to check their phone for notification from Billiyo and, once they receive the notification, ask them to tap Share.

This will confirm the correct location of the client’s home and recalibrate the caregiver’s location.

After completing this process for the first time, your caregiver should no longer have trouble with their location in the app.

My client's availability is unpredictable, so we can't make schedules for them. What should we do? 

A. You can grant your caregiver's permission to schedule their own visits with the app. Your caregivers can then create and clock into visits when they arrive at the patient’s house.

To do this change the caregiver’s user account to “Caregiver Enhanced.” Enhanced Caregivers can then make their own schedules.

Tap the white plus sign to the top right of the caregiver app’s home tab on Android devices (or dashboard on Apple devices) 

Complete the following prompts to schedule a visit.

If they check off “Auto-clock in” the visit starts right when the caregiver hits create.

Can my caregivers change schedule dates in the app?

A. No, caregivers are not able to change the dates of a scheduled shift. They can only adjust the times they worked. If they need to change the date of a scheduled shift, they will need to contact the office.
