Care Plan Outcomes

Within the Billiyo Caregiver app, caregivers can view outcome information entered in a care plan and document about them.

Enabling Outcome Charting

Within your agency's company settings, the outcome charting feature can be managed. 

By default, outcome charting is disabled.


In the left menu, head to: 

More > Company > Company Settings


Locate the configurations tab on this page, and then click on the pencil icon to edit your company settings.


On the pop-up that appears, a checkbox for Enable Outcome? should appear. If this is checked, outcome charting is enabled. If this is unchecked, outcome charting is disabled. 


Entering Outcomes in Care Plans

To utilize the outcome charting function in Billiyo, outcomes are entered in the outcome field within a care plan between a client and employee.

Caregiver App Experience

Once the outcome feature has been enabled, and outcome(s) have been entered within a care plan, it's time to check out what a caregiver sees!


The EVV and Clock In/Out Experience

Upon clocking out of a scheduled visit, a caregiver will be presented with a visit notes screen that includes the outcome information entered in the care plan. 


If the circle next to No or Not Offered is touched, the caregiver will see a pop-up appear in which they will be required to leave remarks.


Once a remark has been entered, the caregiver can touch the save button to continue forward in the clock out process.

The Swipe Schedule Experience

When the No EVV option is selected in the Electronic Visit Verification field of a client caregiver connection, caregivers swipe schedules to complete them.

For this method, a caregiver would touch on the schedule they are going to notate about outcomes on from within the schedule tab. 

Upon doing so, they'll touch on the    to see the care plan outcomes appear and document.

Once a selection has been made, and a remark left if no or not offered are touched, the caregiver touches on the    in the top right corner of the screen to save.

 


Reviewing Outcome Information During Schedules Approval

After a visit has been clocked out of, it's time to review it within the Schedules Approval page. To access this page, in the left menu navigate to:

Scheduling > Schedules Approval


Once you've located the visit, click on the under the action column. 

On the pop-up that appears, click on the  button in the upper right corner. Doing so will reveal the outcome field information.

 


Outcome Tracking Report

Within our dynamic report feature, there's a report for outcome tracking! To access the dynamic report feature, in the left menu head to:

Reports > Dynamic Report


Within the dynamic report page, click on the  to create a new report.

In the category field, select schedule. Then, in the report field, select outcome tracking.


From here, select any fields and filters you'd like to include in your report.

After selecting all fields and filters you'd like to include, click on the    to display the report you've created.

If you selected to include the outcome status field in your report, within this column you'll find the following:

{nothing} The circle next to not offered was touched.
+ The circle next to yes was touched.
- The circle next to no was touched.
