In the Billiyo Clinical Application is Where Skilled Care Happens. This includes Medication Reconciliation, Viewing Orders, Uploading Orders and Viewing Important Patient Information such as Diagnosis, Allergies, Responsible Parties, Physicians, etc.
The Billiyo Clinical Application is all a Clinician will need to Manage the Patient's Care.
Navigation: In the Billiyo Clinical Application, head on over to the Patient Tab at the Bottom of the Home Screen.
The Patient Tab of the Application includes 3 Tabs within the Page:
Basic Info
Medication
Notes
In Basic Information you can View:
- Client Demographics
- Age and DOB
- Diagnosis
- Safety measures
- DME
- Allergies
- Date Of Assessment
- Other Services Needed
- Activities Permitted
- Functional Limitations
- Mental Status
- Prognosis
- Nutritional requirements
- Current Status
- Contact Information
- Client
- Responsible Party
- Physicians
- Caregivers
From this Page you can Map Directions to the Patient Home, Call the Client Contacts and Add Diagnosis.
Here the User will be able to use the Filter at the Top Right of the Page to Define the Patient Desired.
Once The Patient Chart is Displayed for the User, they can use the Blue Arrow to Open Google Maps and get Directions or Map the Distance to the Patient Location.
Diagnosis: Here you can View Diagnosis added by the agency back office staff and Add Surgical and Pertinent or Other Diagnosis.
Tip: You cannot Edit or Delete Diagnosis from the Clinical Application. If you need this action, please contact the agency and they can perform it in the Billiyo Back Office Portal.
Contacts: Here you can Call the Patient Contacts.
Click the Blue Phone Number and the Call option will open.
Let's Move on to Medication.
Medications:
Staying in the Patient Tab, in the Medication Tab you can Add Medications, View the History of the Medication Planner and Medication Reconciliation, View the eMAR and Administer Medications according to the Medication Schedule that is set up in the back office, and Add a eMAR Medication Schedule and Reconcile or document a Medication Reconciliation.
To Add a Medication, Click on the Blue Plus Sign and the page will open up.
Enter the Data and Click the Check Mark at the Top Right of the Page.
Tip: In order to Save a Newly Created Medication, you must have the Medication Name, Medication Frequency and Medication Type and Start Date entered. Those are the Required Fields.
This will share the Medication to the Patient Chart in the Clinical Application and the Back Office Billiyo Portal.
You also have the ability to Edit a Medication in the Clinical Application.
Click on the Blue Pencil Icon.
A Page will open up to Update the Medication.
Make Your Changes and Don't forget to Click on the Check Mark at the Top Right of the Page.
Tip: Make Sure to Choose your Change Date or Discontinue Date.
Now Let's talk about Medication Reconciliation and Medication Planner Set up.
We all know that in Health Care, if it was not documented, it did not happen.
To enter a Medication Planner Set up or a Medication Reconciliation, check off all of the Medications that apply to this action and Click on the Little Medical Bag Icon in the Top Right of the Page.
The Page Will open up to Document that Actions Taken.
Tip: You cannot Choose to take both actions at once. You will have to take the Actions one at a time.
Now Let's talk about Notes.
Staying in the Patient Tab, Click on the Notes Tab.
Notes:
Here you can Add and View Notes for Staff to see both in the Caregiver and Clinical Applications as well as the Back office.
On the Page, you will see the Notes entered by the Back Office or other staff members.
To Read the Note, Click on it.
To Add a new Note:
- Click the Blue Plus Sign
- Choose your Note Type and Type the Note in the Free Text B0x and Save
- You can Add Attachments to the Note Via the Paper Clip Icon.
- To Save a Note Click on the Check Mark at the Top Right of the Page.
Lastly Lets Talk About Patient Documents in the Chart.
Documents such as: Lab Results, Discharge Orders, Doctor Orders and So much more are needed in patient care.
The Back Office and the Clinical Application users can upload these Documents and they are synced back and forth for Viewing.
When the Back Office Adds a New Document to the Chart, the Clinical Application user will get a Notification and Vice Versa.
And the Number in the Patient Chart Icon will increase. The Number indicates there are Unread Documents in the Chart for you to review.
Once in the Patient Chart, you can View the Documents that are attached to the Chart. Click on the Download Icon on the Document that you wish to View and it will show the Document attachment to you.
This will open the PDF where you can Share it or Print it.
Sometimes when a Clinical Staff Member arrives at a Patient's Home, there is a New Document in the home that needs to be added to the Patient Chart.
To Add the Document, simply Click on the Blue Plus Sign.
To Add the New Document take a Picture of it, for HIPPA you will need to erase it after uploading it to the Patient Chart.
We have the Image Upload or Document Upload.
A Document Upload would require the Application users to have scanned the Document in via a Scanning application on the Users Device.
First Choose your Document Type.
Attach your Image or Document by Clicking on the Paper Click Icon.
Lastly, Click on the Check Mark Icon at the Top Right of the Page.
Now that Document Lives in the Patient Chart in the Clinical Application and in the Billiyo Back Office Portal.
