Quick Notes

  • In order for a client to be able to log into Billiyo, a user account is required.
  • It's important to note the username and password set up for a client, as this information will need to be manually shared with them.
  • Clients can login at billiyo.com or via the Billiyo Caregiver app.

Create a User Account for a Client

To create a user account for a client, allowing them (or their responsible party) to log into Billiyo, in the left menu navigate to:

More > User Account > Add New User Account


On the screen that appears, in the "Type" field select "Client".

As you continue to fill out the fields within this screen, in the "User Role" field select the user role of "Patient".


Once all fields have been filled out, click on the    button to finish the user account creation.

After the user account has been created, the login information that was set up will need to be manually shared with the client.

 

How a Client Logs In

A client has two ways they can log into Billiyo:

Billiyo Website

Client users can visit billiyo.com to log into their Billiyo account. 

On our website, the client would click on "Portal Login" to enter their username and password.

Once logged in, clients can:

  • View their scheduled visits in the "Schedules" section
  • Review and sign worked schedules that need their signature in the "Pending Signatures" section.

If "Sign Once" is enabled, use the checkboxes to select multiple schedules to sign at once and click on the button.

  • View their service authorizations in the "Service Authorization" section, checking the checkbox to see both active and expired authorizations.
  • View timesheets in the "Timesheet & Documents" section
  • View digitized documents that have been completed for them by clicking on the button, or fill out one that's been generated for them by clicking on the button, in the "Documents" section
  • View (closed) incident reports in the "Incident Reports & Caregiver Notes" section
  • Add caregiver notes using the button and view them in the "Caregiver notes" section
  • Access the Billiyo help center by clicking on  in the left menu
  • Change their password by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner and then "Change Password"

 

Billiyo Caregiver App

The ability for clients to log in via the app is available on versions 2.8.4.2 (Android) and 2.32.15 (Apple) or higher.

Before logging in, the client should download the Billiyo Caregiver app to their mobile device from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (Apple).

Once the app has been downloaded to the client's device, it can be touched on to open it. At this point, the client can enter the username and password that was created for them to log in.

After logging in, the client can:

  • View their basic information by touching on their profile image in the upper left corner of the tab
  • Review and sign worked schedules that need their signature within the  tab.

  • View their care plans within the tab
  • View their service authorizations within the tab
  • View incident reports within the tab
  • Add and view caregiver notes within the tab
  • Share their app database with our development team if they encounter an issue by touching on the icon in the upper right corner of the tab
