Set up a Client User Account

In order for a client (or responsible party) to be able to log into the client portal or the Billiyo Caregiver app, a user account needs to be setup for the client.

To create a user account for a client, in the left menu navigate to:

More > User Account > Add New User Account


On the screen that appears, chose "Client" in the Type field and complete the additional fields. 

In order to save the client's user account, all fields must be filled out.


After filling out all fields, click on the Save button to finish the setup of the client's user account.

Once you've setup the client's user account, please make sure to provide them with the username and password you created for them.


Signature Setup

If you would like a client (or responsible party) to add their signature to a worked visit at a later time, not when the caregiver clocks out, a setting within the client caregiver connection can be adjusted to accommodate for this.


Whether you're creating a new client caregiver connection or editing an existing one, the setup for this will be the same.

Within the Caregiver Settings field, click on the "x" next to the current selection. A pop-up will appear when doing this, in order to move forward, confirm by clicking on the OK button.


Once the Caregiver Settings field selection(s) have been cleared, click into this field again and choose  the "Do not require client signature" option.

Additional selections can also be made in this field in conjunction with the above mentioned selection.


After making the desired changes, click on the Save button.

With "Do not require client signature" set, the client signature option will not appear when a caregiver clocks out. 


How a Client Logs In

A client has two options to log in to provide their signature:

With either option, the client (or responsible party) logs in with the username and password that was set up for them.

Make sure to provide the client with their username and password after you set up their user account.


Logging in via the Billiyo Website

To log in via the Billiyo website, the client visits billiyo.com and clicks on the Portal Login link in the top-right corner of the screen.

On the next page that appears, the client enters the username and password they were given.

Once logged into the client portal on the web, the client can:

View Scheduled Visits
Sign Off on Submitted Visits

Only visits that have been clocked out of by an employee will appear here.

View Their Service Authorizations (SAs)

View Timesheets
View and Complete Digital Documents Generated for Them
View Incident Reports

Only "Closed" incident reports will be displayed.

View and Add Caregiver Notes

 


Logging in via the Billiyo Caregiver App

This functionality is available on the following app versions (or higher):

  • Android: 2.8.4.2
  • Apple: 2.32.15


To log in via the Billiyo Caregiver app, the client will need to download the app to their device  from the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iPhone).

After downloading the app, the client touches on the app to launch it and get logged in with the username and password that was created for them.

After logging in, the client can:

Sign Off on Visits
(In the Sign tab)


Use the filter icon in the top-right corner of the screen to choose a specific date range.
