When a Skilled or PDN patient is transferred to the hospital or to a facility their status should be changed to "HOLD"
You as a Back office User can edit to this status type in the Billiyo Portal. To make this change manually, Go to CRM>Clients>Patient Dashboard>Edit Patient
For those of you that Need and OASIS Transfer of care completed to Upload to iQUIES, you will want to schedule a NON BILLABLE SKILLED OASIS Transfer of Care (E) to your Nurse in order to have this document available, you will schedule if and the Nurse or Therapist assigned to this visit will complete it in Our Billiyo Clinical Application.
Once the Clinician completes the assessment it is Best recommended Practice in Billiyo to audit the complete assessment, go to Clinical > Clinical Assessments > View Assessment Data. This action Taken in the Billiyo Back Office will automatically change your Patient's status to HOLD. (The change may take a few minutes to be seen, once you have completed your Audit and Passed your Assessment)
When you access the Edit Assessment mode from the Clinical Dashboard and click on "Audit," it audits only the specific section you’re viewing. Once each section has been audited individually and all sections are complete, the assessment's overall audit status will update, and the patient's status will then change to "Hold."
Additionally, if the assessment type is "Transfer of Care (E)," auditing it through this process will also set the patient's status to "Hold." Once each Section has Passed the Audit in completion.
Once the Client/Patient is returned to your agency for Care, if it is within the client's certification period, you can resume care by Editing the status in the Client Profile/Patient Dashboard to Pending admission. Schedule a Resumption of Care (E).
If you have passed the deadline of your Certification Period, you will need to Discharge your patient and complete a new patient Intake and will schedule a Start of Care OASIS (E).
Please Note: Only Patient's in the Pending or Active Status have the ability to be scheduled.
