Updating a Service Authorization
How to edit a service authorization after entering it into Billiyo.

Service Authorization and Service Agreement will be used interchangeably in this article
To edit a service agreement after entering it we will need to:
- Locate the service agreement in the "Manual Entry" tab under the service agreement.
- Open the agreement and make the changes you need
Locate your Service Authorization This Page
To find the agreement that we will be updating, please head to the "Add/View SA" page. To find this page, please head to the left menu and navigate through: CRM > Service Auths > Add/View SA

In the page that loads up, please select the client that we will be working with:

After locating our client, we can see all of their active service agreements. Please keep in mind that if a single service agreement has multiple procedure codes, then each code will receive its own "line."

By default, you will only be able to look up active clients. To see all client (inactive, onboarding and discharged) please select the "Show All" radial and toggle it to "On."

By default, Billiyo will only show "Active" agreements. To see all service authorization, please head to the "Show All" radio on the right side of the page and change it to yes:


Edit a Service Authorization
After locating your the client’s service agreement we can expand it by hitting the green
sign to the left of the payer. This will expand your service agreement so you can see it in more detail.

To edit this agreement, we can click on the blue pencil icon button.

This will bring up a pop-up with with the service authorization information. This field mirrors the pop-up we used when manually entering a service agreement.

To update your agreement, Click into any field to edit it. After making the changes you need, please click on the blue “Save Service Auth” button to update.

If you are editing the dates of your agreement, you will see a pop up that asks if you want to change the date range of any attached care plan.
