# Reconciling eFax
## Once a fax is received in Billiyo you will need to confirm and reconcile it in order to get the document received into the patient chart.
In order to send and receive faxes, the agency must be signed up for our Billiyo Communications Package.
To view and reconcile eFax head over to Clinical\>Incoming fax.
Here you can filter by:
Patient
Sent by
Status
Received Date
Sent Date
There are two tabs on this page — “Incoming Fax” and “Reconcile Fax”, the filter fields shown above will remain no matter what tab we click into.
When first coming to this page, we’ll be taken to the “Incoming Fax” tab. On this tab we’ll be able to see all incoming communications based off our filter selections.
To View the fax received click on .
To move the fax received to the patient chart click on .
A Pop Up will appear.
Here you can choose:
Patient
Document Type
Remarks
eFax to be reconciled
Once the document has been reconciled it will move to the "Reconcile Fax" Tab.
To view the attachments click on .
To view a side by side comparison of what was sent and what was received click on the .
If an error was made in reconciling this fax you can click on .
A Pop Up warning will appear when Removing a Reconciliation.
Choose Cancel or Confirmed and It's Correct. 
Removing a Reconciliation is a one way street and this action cannot be undone.
Removing a Reconciliation will put the Fax back into the “Incoming Fax” Tab.
