Recalibrate a Client's Location

If a client's address is displaying incorrectly on map views, use the recalibrate client location function to update it.

Quick Notes

  • This feature should be used if the client's address does not display in the correct location within maps on the web portal or mobile apps.
  • Recalibrating client location is performed with employees who are on-site at the client's home, through the use of our mobile apps — Billiyo Caregiver or Billiyo Clinical.

 

Before taking the steps within this article, please call the client to confirm that the employee is with them in their home to ensure their address location is properly updated.

 

Requesting a Client Location Recalibration

When a client's address is appearing incorrectly on map views within the Billiyo system, the client's address can be recalibrated. 

To access the recalibration feature, in the left menu navigate to:

CRM > Clients > View Client Care Giver


Within this page, click into the "Request Location" tab.


After clicking into this tab, we  will be asked to complete the following fields:

1. Select Client - The Client who needs their location recalibrated

2. Client Address - Are we recalibrating the client's primary or alternate residence

a. Select Client Contacts - Appears if we selected "Alternate Address." Here we will select the alternate residence we are recalibrating

3. Select Client Caregiver - The employee who's address we are requesting.

To recalibrate your location, click the blue "Request Location" button.

This will make the map to spin until your employee files a location request.

 

Completing a Location Recalibration Request

Location recalibration can be done with either of our current mobile apps — Billiyo Caregiver or Billiyo Clinical

Once client location recalibration has been requested, the employee that was chosen to recalibrate with receives an in-app notification.


This notification is also visible within the "Notifications" section, found by going to:

More > Notifications


Touching on the notification triggers a location share confirmation pop-up to launch. Within it, the client and employee should confirm that the pinpoint is showing in the correct location on the map. 

After confirming, the client signs in the "Patient Signature" field at the bottom and the employee completes the recalibration by touching on the "Share" button. 


If the submission is successful, the employee will see a success message that can be closed by touching on "OK".


The address recalibration is complete and map views within the Billiyo system will display the location that was shared by the employee.

 

 

Update Location

After your employee has shared their location, please click on "Fetch Distance"

If you see that the caregiver's location is near the client, then please hit "Update Client Locaiton"
