Programs and Requested Services
By assigning clients to specific programs, your employees will only be able to see the patients that are a part of the programs they work with.
In order for an employee to work visits with a client, they need to have a caregiver connection.

What are programs in Billiyo
In Billiyo, programs (also referred to as requested services) are the lines of service that your employees will work and your clients will receive. These programs include services, like Home Making, PDN, PCA and Adult Day Care. For a full list of Billiyo programs, please refer to the bottom of this article.
By assigning your clients and office workers to these programs, we can restrict you staff from seeing clients that receive care in programs that the employee doesn't work with.
Program assignment is intended for your office employees. Caregivers, and staff that work in the field, are assigned unique clients in the caregiver connection.
For example. if one of your office worker is assigned to the PCA program, then they will only be able to see clients who are also a part of that PCA program. A home making or PDN patient however, will not be visible to this employee.
If a client is assigned to multiple services, then any employee who shares a service will be able to see that client.
For example, if a client received PCA and PDN care, and an employee works with the PCA program (but not PDN), then they will still be able to see the client because there is a shared service (PCA).
With this program assignment, you can set up unique offices in the system and prevent your staff from seeing clients that they do not work with.
How to set up programs?
Clients are assigned to programs through the Services field in their profile.
Employees are assigned to programs in the Program/Required Services in their user account.

Example:
Let's say we have two clients: Jason Todd and Amanda Waller. Jason is set to receive PCA services and Amanda will receive Homemaking.

We also have an office employee names Otto Octavius. Otto was hired to oversee PCA clients and he will not work with homemaking. So, in his user account, we assigned the PCA program.

In this situation, when Otto is logged into Billiyo, he will only be able to see clients who are assigned to the PCA service. This means Otto can can see Jason Todd, but not Amanda Waller.
If a client is not assigned to a program, then they will appear to all office employees.
If an eoffice mployee is not assigned to a program, then they will be able to see all clients in your system.
