      Automatic Clock Out Reminder

      An automatic notification is sent to Billiyo Caregiver app users who are clocked in longer than what they were scheduled for.

      Quick Notes

      • This feature is currently available for the Billiyo Caregiver app.
      • In order to receive this reminder, users need to enable notifications on their device. 
      • This in-app alert will only appear for current date schedules or ones that have a start time within the last 24-hours. Users who are clocking in and out of previous schedules will not receive it.
      • Once scheduled time has been exceeded, mobile app users will receive a notification every 15 minutes asking them to clock out.
      • If a schedule is created by a "Caregiver Enhanced" user and no end time is set ("Auto Clock In"), the notification will start appearing 24-hours after clock in time. 

       

      How to Enable Notifications

      Android devices

      1. Open the "Settings" app 
      2. Touch on "Notifications"
      3. Touch on "App Notifications"
      4. Locate and touch on "Billiyo Caregiver" (you may need to touch "All apps" to find)
      5. Slide the "Allow notification access" toggle to the "on" position

      Apple (iOS) devices

      1. Open the "Settings" app
      2. Touch on "Apps"
      3. Touch on "Notifications"
      4. Locate and touch on "Billiyo Caregiver"
      5. Slide the "Allow Notifications" toggle to the "on" position


      Caregiver App Experience

      When a Billiyo Caregiver app user is clocked in for more time than they were scheduled for, a notification will appear on their device.

      If the user is not in the tab at the time of notification, they can touch on this notification to be taken directly to it. 

      Within the tab, the following message will display. 


      Touching on the button will take the user through the clock out flow, and upon clock out completion the in-app alert will no longer appear.


      Touching on the  button will dismiss the in-app alert from the screen, and the caregiver will remain clocked into the schedule unless they touch on the "Clock Out" button within the "Dashboard" tab.


      If the in-app alert is dismissed, it will continue to appear every 15-minutes until the user clocks out of the schedule.
