# Employee Communications

## Need to fax or email an employee document? In Billiyo you can do that. 

In Billiyo Employee Documents can be sent via fax or email to employees and other fax or email recipients. 

To get started head to Operation\>Employee\>View Employee

Then click ![](https://knowledge.billiyo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-02-2026-07-39-12-2475-PM.png?width=132&height=20&name=image-png-Apr-02-2026-07-39-12-2475-PM.png).

On the right hand side of the page, click on the Employee Communications Tab.

Then click compose.

Here you can choose to fax or email the document. 

For Fax, choose Fax.

In order to send and receive faxes, the agency must be signed up for our Billiyo Communications Package.

For email, choose email. 

If you are faxing or emailing to a contact not listed in your Contact Masters, you will choose custom fax/email.

Then search for the document type that you wish to send.

Click the Check box for the document you will to send, you can choose multiple documents.

Choose the Reason for your fax/email.

Type your message.
