Care Plans in the Billiyo Clinical App

The Billiyo Clinical app is a one-stop shop for all oversight of caregiver care and performance, including care plans.

Quick Notes

  • The preferred method for qualified professionals and clinical staff to add care plans is by using the Billiyo Clinical app. 
  • If a care plan is added or edited within the Billiyo Clinical app, the changes should reflect within the web portal once data sync occurs — and vice versa.

View Care Plans

To view care plans within the Billiyo Clinical app, touch on the tab in the bottom menu. Then, "Care Plan".


Within this screen, all care plans that meet the default filter criteria will appear. Use the icon in the upper right corner to adjust the filters, and touch on the button to refresh the results.

Each care plan will be represented by a tile, where on quick glance client, employee, date range, procedure code and services will be visible. 

Touching on the icon will reveal:

  • Your agency's general, universal care plan notes
  • Agency contact information
  • The client's caregiver's emergency contact information
  • The client's contact information
  • The client's doctor's contact information

To return to the main screen, touch on the icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

 

Add a Care Plan

To create a new care plan, touch on the icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

On the screen that appears, we recommend filling out as much information as possible to have a complete care plan. However, only the following fields are required:

  • Patient
  • Caregiver
  • Service Auth → The service authorization must be added via the web first. 
  • Services
  • Frequency
  • Start Date & End Date

Once the care plan information has been entered, touch on the icon in the upper right corner to save. 


Note: If a care plan has already been created for the client, employee and service authorization, when touching on the icon an alert will appear. Touch on "OK" to exit and review all care plans that have been entered. 

 

Edit a Care Plan

If changes need to be made to a care plan, locate the care plan and touch on it's tile. 

Within editing mode, changes can be made to any field except for the following: 

  • Patient
  • Caregiver
  • Service Auth
  • Signatures (if already captured)

Once all edits have been made, touch on the icon in the upper right corner to save.

 

Viewing, Downloading and Printing a Care Plan PDF

To view the PDF version of a care plan, touch on the icon on the care plan's tile. Upon doing so, the care plan PDF should display for viewing. 

To download or print the care plan PDF, touch on the icon in the upper right corner to select from the options available on the device being used.

Note: All information entered into the care plan and information added in the client's profile on the web (i.e., responsible party, advanced directes, allergies, etc.) will appear in the PDF.
